Eating Inside Cinderella's Castle | Disney World, Florida

The most magical and unique dining experience...

I am writing this from a very sunny and very hot villa in Kissimmee, Florida (109 Fahrenheit earlier today!!) I am currently on a 3 week holiday in the US, which started off with an amazing weekend in New York City which you can read here, and now I'm nearly half way through the second instalment of the holiday; Orlando Florida! I'm so lucky and grateful to be out here because I'm having the most amazing time with my family. Anyway enough babbling on, just keep your eyes peeled for more Orlando Florida related blog posts over the next few weeks I suppose...

So on our first day here we headed to Magic Kingdom! My family and I were super excited (especially my 6 year old sister Alice). After a busy and exciting morning in the park jumping on numerous rides, Alice had a special treat lined up as it was her birthday the day we set out to New York; The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. For most of you who probably don't have a clue what that is, basically, it is a Disney beauty salon located in Cinderella's Castle where little girls can book in for a magical makeover and be transformed into their favourite princesses.

Honestly one of the cutest things I've ever witnessed.

Alice had such a special time and loved every minute of it. Her choice of princess was in fact Minnie Mouse, not really a princess but her favourite Disney character, and she loved the bright red bow. After the makeover was complete we had another treat instore...

Cinderella's Royal Table is the magical restaurant located in the famous Cinderella's castle. When it was our time to eat we entered the castle and was firstly greeted by Cinderella herself. Alice loved meeting her and enjoyed getting an autograph, and photo taken. When our name was announced, it was our turn to make our way up the winding staircase into the dining room.

We sat at our table and looked at the menu. There was a set menu on offer with 3 options for a starter, 6 options for entrées and 3 options for dessert. I opted for the Charcuterie Plate to start. "A selection of cured meats, cheeses and other speciality selections of the castle." Then for my Entrée I went for the Chef's Fish of the Day. The dish on that day was a fillet of fish served on orzo pasta, with vegetables, rocket and a spicy pepper sauce. Then for my dessert I went for The Clock Strikes Twelve. "A dark chocolate mousse with a dark chocolate ganache served with a raspberry coulis."

My entire meal tasted amazing, and just look at how cute that dessert is! I think the choices available were brilliant, the service was perfect, and the quality and taste of the food was very impressive.

So dining in Cinderella's Castle is already a pretty unique experience, however the meal becomes more magical for Alice as during the meal Disney Princesses came over to say hello, write autographs and take photos. Alice loved it, and it was soooo cute to watch.

We were also given our own magic wands and swords as during the dining experience an announcement was given, and we all had to wave our wands in the air which caused sparkles to shine across the dining room.

Tips For Dining In Cinderella's Royal Table

- Book in advance (1000%)
- Prepare to pay in advance too
- Pay for your drinks separately when you're in the restaurant
- Bring a camera because you're going to want to take lots of photos with the princesses and of inside the castle
- Window seats are amazing to look out over the park
- The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner menus so checking out their menus online would be wise
