I've been meaning to write this post for ages, but a few weeks ago I spent a wonderful day with my Nan, Auntie, Mum and Sister at the Country Living Christmas Fair.
We made our way up on the 12th November to the Islington, London, to attend the event which was being held in the Business Design Centre. The Country Living Christmas Fair is a wonderful festive event which includes lots of stands selling all sorts of products ranging from food, to fashion, to beauty, to candles, to games, to homeware. There was a wide range of different stalls from small independent businesses, to more established brands. I loved wandering around the centre browsing, shopping and trying out different products. I bought myself a beautiful charcoal face cleansing soap, and some soothing nettle body cream.
The food halls provided lots of testers and my favourite area was the Green & Blacks Tasting Kitchen. The Green & Blacks stall provided lots of different tasting opportunities including unique flavours of chocolate, salted caramel cups, and mulled wine truffles. It was absolutely amazing - who doesn't love free chocolate!?
The Country Living Christmas Fair also provided talks and shows in the theatre area. There were numerous talks on offer, and we decided to watch the 7 Reasons to Make your own Natural Toiletries talk with Wild Harvest. The talk was fascinating as we were shown how to create natural beauty and health products, and I was inspired to create my own at home as I was amazed at how simple they were to make!
After spending hours walking around and soaking up the Christmas spirit, my family and I decided to eat lunch in the Ask Italian next door to the Business Design Centre. I had a delicious pasta bake, and tried their lovely homemade lemonade.
I had a wonderful day with my family, and I would certainly recommend the Country Living Christmas Fair next year because it's a great way to get you excited for the festive season!
