Welcome to My Guide To Walt Disney Resort!
This is the first part of my two part series containing everything I experienced during my recent 3 week stay in Orlando, Florida! I will explore everything I got up to, as well as some tips and tricks for if you're visiting, and a few things I'd love to do next time I go! Keep your eyes peeled for the second instalment coming soon, as well as a Guide To Universal Studios.
Magic Kingdom
Probably the most iconic of the 6 Disney World parks, I'll start at Magic Kingdom.
My Top 5 Must-Do Rides

Shows and Entertainment
There are plenty of shows at Disney's Magic Kingdom including the Festival of Fantasy Parade (Main Street USA) and The Enchanted Tiki Room (Adventureland).
Across the park you can find occasional short performances such as singing and dancing performances along Main Street USA, a Muppets American Presidents Show in Liberty Sqaure, and The Country Bear Jamboree in Frontierland.
My favourite of all the shows has got to be the evening showcase at Cinderella's Castle; Happily Ever After. The castle is lit up with beautifully designed projections from all of Disney's favourite films complied with music and fireworks - if you only have time for one late night evening performance at Disney World, I would 100% recommend Happily Ever After.

Dining and Treats
Like all Disney parks there are plenty of dining opportunities in Magic Kingdom. As a special treat this holiday we dined in Cinderella's Castle at Cinderella's Royal Table and Chef Mickey's. Cinderella's Royal Table is a magical and unique dining experience, and if you'd like to read more about it I completed a specific blog post on it here. Chef Mickey's is a super fun restaurant that provides a delicious buffet, and more importantly Chef Mickey's is the restaurant where Disney's favourite characters walk round and meet everyone as well as creating funny dances with all the children.
Anddd like all Disney parks there are plenty of yummy Disney treats; we tried the famous Dole Whip (Adventureland) and Funnel Cake (Liberty Square) and Casey's Brownie Sundae (Main Street USA).

Epcot
The second on my list of Disney Parks. This futuristic land features a World Showcase as well as plenty of rides based on the theme of innovation and discovery.

The World Showcase
The World Showcase is an amazing experience where as you walk around a lagoon and you have the chance to walk through lots of different countries whilst having a glimpse and experiencing their culture. The World Showcase includes multiple different resturants, shops, experiences, live music, character meet and greets and two attractions (Frozen Ever After (Norway) and The Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros (Mexico).
So like I said the other side of Epcot is filled with rides and attractions all fuelled by the theme of discovery and innovation.

Shows and Entertainment
So as I said previously, The World Showcase has plenty of live music and short performances in each country, however there is a beautiful fireworks show that takes place in the centre of The World Showcase Lagoon. IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth is a beautiful must-see show that celebrates humanity.
Dining and Treats
Each country in The World Showcase offers it's own delicacies for example margaritas and tacos in Mexico, patisseries in France, Asian cuisine in China, ice cream and pizza in Italy, and fish n chips in the United Kingdom haha and plenty of other food in all of the countries. We treated ourselves one night to dinner in the restaurant in Mexico called La Hacienda de San Angel. The meal was absolutely delicious, however what made the meal particularly special was the beautiful view we had out across The World Showcase lagoon where the IllumiNations show was taking place. It was amazing.
Animal Kingdom
The wildest of the Disney parks. The theme park celebrating all of nature, creatures and animals.

Animal Kingdom is the newest of all the Disney Parks, and it is split into different continents such as Asia, and Africa as well as some other areas of the park - Dinoland USA, Discovery Island, Oasis and Pandora (The World of Avatar). Within Africa, Asia and Discovery Island there are lots of beautiful wild animals to look at, the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail is well worth a walk through and a ride on Kilamanjaros Safaris.
Pandora - The World of Avatar
I believe that the area of Pandora at Disney's Animal Kingdom deserves it's own written paragraph because jheeze it was amazing. The entire area looks absolutely beautiful and the rides are out of this world (no pun intended). The first Na'vi River Journey was a favourite with my little sister. A little river ride through beautiful Pandora,but the best ride in Pandora is certainly Avatar Flights of Passage. An incredible ride experience like no other. I'm going to struggle to describe the ride well but basically you experience riding a Banshee across Pandora through an amazing 4D experience. The ride is created amazingly as you are immersed, with all your senses, into the experience. I actually felt emotional after the ride was over... clearly an emotional wreck but I absolutely loved it and had never been on any 4D experience like it before! I would 1000% recommend getting a Fastpass for it when you can (months in advance) as the queues are always ridiculously long, and I would also recommend visiting Pandora in the evening because the area looks so beautiful all lit up!
Shows and Entertainment
There are again lots of shows available at Animal Kingdom. We experienced The Festival of The Lion King (Africa) and Finding Nemo The Musical (Next to Dinoland USA). The Festival of The Lion King was amazing - loads of singing, acrobatics, dancing, trapeze and all of the Lion King characters! Finding Nemo The Musical was brilliant too, and it was great to see how they made the film into musical theatre.
In the evening there is a beautiful Rivers of Light Dessert Party on the lake in Asia, but unfortunately we couldn't watch it because of a huge downpour that evening...typical Florida. The show looks incredible so definitely something I'd love to see on my next visit. Luckily I braved the rain enough to watch a small light show on the Tree of Life on Discovery Island, which was beautiful and very cute.
Dining and Treats
There are loads of different cuisines available across Animal Kingdom including some restaurants such as the Satu'li Canteen serving meals inspired by Pandora (The World of Avatar), Yak & Yeti Restaurant with American and Asian cuisine, and The Rainforest Café.
Treats wise in Animal Kingdom we opted for the classic Minute Maid Frozen Lemonade. A sure family favourite of ours that keeps us cool during the Florida heat, and it tastes absolutely amazing!
