The Breakfast Club is a super cool 'caf' chain that specialises in brunches and breakfasts (however they also have a lunch, dinner, cocktails and drinks menu). Their menu always looks amazing, and so as my friend was down to visit me in Brighton the other day, we decided to head there for brunch!
The Breakfast Club in Brighton is located in the lanes and it hard not to spot as the entire outside is yellow. We arrived and were seated upstairs in a cute booth. The interior is so retro and had 80s Miami, Florida vibesssss. The staff were so friendly, and the music playlist was full of classic fun and upbeat songs that everyone can sing along to.
I was really craving pancakes so I knew I fancied something off of the pancakes section of the menu, but everything looked so delicious so it was so hard to choose! In the end I couldn't choose between two different types of pancakes, and neither could my friend so we decided to share two different meals. I ordered the Beauregarde Pancakes (gluten free blueberry pancakes with blueberry and lemon compote, oatty cream and maple syrup) and Fran ordered the Pancakes & Bacon (with maple syrup too - what an american classic!) My other friend who was visiting ordered Pancakes & Berries.
For drinks we ordered a cappuccino, a lemony lemonade and a green juice.
The food and drinks arrived and tasted amazing! None of us could finish our meals because there was so much food but the pancakes were incredible. They were proper american pancakes - really big and fluffy!
I'd love to go back to The Breakfast Club, perhaps in a different location as there are lots of different cafs located across the UK, especially in London. I'd love to try their lunch and dinner options too, as well as some cocktails!
