July Favourites

Welcome to my July Favourites!

I don't usually share with you my favourites each month, but last month I found quite a few things I wanted to share with you in a post. If you like these monthly updates then I'm more than happy to post more as I enjoyed gathering the items together. So without further ado here are my July favourites!

BEAUTY

LOreal Infallible Stay Fresh 24H Foundation

After my obsession with the amazing and totally affordable LOreal Infallible Stay Matte foundation I was super excited when I heard that there was a new foundation in the same range that promises great coverage but also a more fresh and dewy finish. I prefer using matte foundation in winter, but in the summer I prefer a more lightweight consistency on my skin. This drugstore foundation is amazing and provides great coverage all day. I did find that it took quite a bit of effort to blend into my skin, but with a good buffing brush it shouldn't be a problem! The colours match my skin very well and I was overall very impressed, that is why this was my daily foundation in July.

Benefit Posie Tint

Not a new product at all but I re-fell in love with this product last month when I found it at the bottom of my makeup collection. Posie tint is a makeup stain that can be used on your lips or cheeks to create a cute pink colour. Using this as a blush in the summer is great if you don't want a powdery look, and it's great to create a bit of colour if you are heading to the beach or to the pool. The colour on my lips is beautiful and is very long-lasting too! I would definitely recommend this as a holiday beauty essential.

Clarins Beauty Flash Balm

The product that creates a flawless makeup base. I use a thin layer of this balm underneath my makeup as a primer and it works wonderfully. I prefer it to many primers as it's not too heavy duty and is very gently on my skin - great for hot summer days too! You can tell how much I have used this product from the image above haha!

Origins GinZing Energy-Boosting Moisturiser

The face moisturiser that packs an energy-boosting punch. I love this little moisturiser as it leaves my skin feeling AMAZING! This moisturiser is the Lucozade of the skincare world due to the skin-boosters; coffee bean and Panax Ginseng. This oil free and lightweight cream leaves my skin feeling refreshed, vibrant and glowing.

Leighton Denny Miracle Mist

We had lots of sunny days in July and sunny days call for flip flops and sandals, and that means a pedicure is needed. I must admit I am super impatient when it comes to manicures and pedicures because I cannot keep still for long enough and I always smudge the nail polish! Leighton Denny has come to my rescue with this miracle mist - which really is a miracle! This spray is the ultimate nail-drying spray and also boosts my nails with Vitamin E - an added bonus!

Superdrug Vitamin E All Over Body Cream

The perfect totally affordable body cream for everyone! This Vitamin E body cream fully hydrates your skin whilst also defending the skin from environmental damage because it is rich in natural Vitamin E and antioxidants. I have been loving this body cream and I certainly need to repurchase this soon!

FASHION

New Look Black Sandals

These Black Sandals from New Look have been my go-to sandals in July because they are super comfortable and go with everything! I bought them a while back in May but now that summer has come I've found more days that I can wear them. New Look also had them in a tan colour which were gorgeous too! Sadly I don't think these exact sandals are available to purchase anymore but I will link similar pairs from New Look here, here and here.

H&M Burgundy Lace Romper

My friends and I headed to Oxford Street a few weeks ago in search of holiday clothes and this is when I came across this beautiful burgundy/orange/red (not really sure how to describe the colour) lace romper. I fell in love with the burgundy/orange/red colour and the lace detail. The fit is lovely and I think it would be a perfect holiday item because it can be worn during the day with a pair of black sandals (like the ones above) or of an evening with a pair of heels.

Primark Black & White Crochet Look Bikini

I was having a little panic when searching for a bikini for my holiday because I couldn't find anything I remotely liked. If you are someone like my who is very body conscious then the struggle of finding a bikini you like is awful! I searched online and in-stores everywhere and I couldn't find anything until I came across this one from Primark. I loved the crochet look and the loose material on the front looked very flattering. I tried it on and loved the cross back detail of the bikini top but I hated the bottoms that came with it. I decided that for £6 (what a bargain!) I had to buy the top, but I left the bikini bottoms and instead ordered a plain black pair of high-waisted bikini bottoms from Missguided. The bikini looks lovely and it is one of the cheapest bikinis I've ever bought!

LIFESTYLE

Pink Wafers

OK this is a very random and totally weird item but nevertheless it is a July favourite of mine! I don't know why but last month I became slightly addicted to Pink Wafers. Partly due to the fact I used to love them when I was little, and partly because they don't contain as many calories as other biscuits, but they quickly became my favourite snack and sweet treat of July! (Weird I know..)

IPhone 6s Gold Charger Case

I suffer with a problem...I'm slightly addicted to my phone. Not the 'I'm texting so many people and am so popular on social media' addicted, but I listen to music and play Pokémon Go all the time. Spotify and Pokémon Go drains my charge and I always run out during the day which is really annoying. When I went to Wireless festival last month my friend showed me his IPhone charger case and said that I should buy one, so I did and I would never look back. The charger case apparently charges a phone to 100% about 2-3 times a day which is brilliant! The case is also very sturdy and looks very really nice so that's a bonus too! If anyone struggles with battery charge like me this is a life saver and it is super cheap to buy from Amazon too!

I hope you enjoyed reading this monthly update of the things I loved during July!
