Located in South East England is a beautiful, heathland, and woodland landscape named Ashdown Forest. An area well known for its references in the Winnie-the-Pooh stories.
The 100 ache wood, where Pooh and his friends live, was inspired by the author's [A.A. Milne] love for the area. The unique environment is beautiful and a lovely location for a summer walk with my family.
We had a lovely picnic by the woodland, and enjoyed beautiful views across the hills, and we also enjoyed ice-creams from a local ice-cream van. Although, one problem that we found with the area was that there was a lot of dog poo which ruined some of the scenery. Apart from this small issue the area is a beautiful place to spend long, sunny summer days!
'Any day spent with you is my favourite day. So today is my new favourite day.'
